Based in Guelph, we are currently looking for people with drive and passion to join our dynamic team our the Metal Fab Shop.
We operate year round and the ideal candidate must be physically able to meet the strenuous demands of the job.
Responsibilities
Organizing, manipulating and painting material produced for clients
Provide production support as needed
Cleaning and organizing the production floor
Work with various fab shop materials
Utilize various hand and power tools as needed
Check work along the way to ensure it's up to code and specifications
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ Lbs
Experience working in a metal fabrication facility (considered an asset)
Valid forklift certification (considered an asset)
Valid overhead crane certificate (considered an asset)
Basic hand and power tool experience (asset)
Ability to read drawings (asset)
Ability to read tape measure in imperial and metric (strong asset)
Strong work ethic
Punctual
Clean driving record
Willingness to learn and be trained
Able to work with others
