Working Supervisor

The Working Supervisor will be responsible for leading the production in a semi-automatic, computerized, high-tech concrete production and assembly plant. Responsible for all day to day operations of the plant in coordination with management, engineering, steel production and 

erection.


Responsibilities

  • Lead by example with regard to attendance, timeliness, loyalty, mutual respect and support for organizational teamwork, new product diversification and continuous improvement.

  • Champion safety with all production personnel

  • Work with the Manufacturing Manager to optimize the production process

  • Read diagrams and schematic drawing to determine work procedures

  • Provide hands on support to team members as needed

  • Coordinate and schedule the delivery of material to maintain an appropriate supply chain

  • Assist in the set up of work schedules and shift planning

  • Maintain a high standard of quality for all products as outlined by CPCQA


Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience

  • Ideally 5-7 years experience in a semi-automated precast facility

  • 2-3 years experience leading a shift of 8-10 employees

  • CPCQA certification considered an asset

  • Must have experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, various engines types and motors, and industrial machine controls

  • Must be computer literate and have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including Project and Excel

  • Must be physically fit

  • Must have excellent communication, both verbal and written

  • Must be a team player, but can work independently
