Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role

  • Degree and education in finance or accounting preferred

  • Construction industry experience considered an asset

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage 300 CRE

  • Experience in multi-currencies

  • Experience in US laws and regulations

  • Experience with ExakTime and Procore experience considered an asset

  • Proven ability to maintain sensitive and highly confidential information

  • Excellent numerical skills, written and oral communication

  • Intermediate computer literacy (including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word)

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task without compromising on quality

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

  • Dependable and punctual


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records and files for multi-companies

  • Reconcile bank statements

  • Process accounts payable and receivable including contractor billing

  • Provide back-up support to payroll processing

  • Setup jobs, cost codes, and categories

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, rules, regulations, agreements, and laws

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality for all information

  • Provide administrative support and run errands when required

Location: Guelph, Ontario


Hours: 40 hours per week


Language: Able to speak, read and write English with technical skills
