Qualifications:
3-5 years experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role
Degree and education in finance or accounting preferred
Construction industry experience considered an asset
Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage 300 CRE
Experience in multi-currencies
Experience in US laws and regulations
Experience with ExakTime and Procore experience considered an asset
Proven ability to maintain sensitive and highly confidential information
Excellent numerical skills, written and oral communication
Intermediate computer literacy (including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task without compromising on quality
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Dependable and punctual
Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records and files for multi-companies
Reconcile bank statements
Process accounts payable and receivable including contractor billing
Provide back-up support to payroll processing
Setup jobs, cost codes, and categories
Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, rules, regulations, agreements, and laws
Maintain a high level of confidentiality for all information
Provide administrative support and run errands when required
