Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy machinery including large excavators and dozers

• Site service grading

• ICI and foundation site excavation

• Perform daily pre-use inspections and general maintenance of machines

• Work with blueprints or instructions from supervisors

• Utilize various hand and power tools as required

• Check work along the way to ensure it's up to code and specifications

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience

• 3 years experience operating heavy equipment for ICI projects

• Knowledge of sewer, watermain, excavation and earth moving best practices

• Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ Lbs

• Experience working on commercial construction projects

• AZ licence certified, and interested in transporting our materials on occasion considered an asset

• Basic hand and power tool experience (considered an asset)

• Experience reading drawings

• Certifications in Forklift and Overhead Crane (considered an asset)

• Strong work ethic

• Punctual

• Able to work overtime and occasional Saturdays

• Able to provide their own transportation

• Clean driving record
