Responsibilities
Safely operate heavy machinery including large excavators and dozers
Site service grading
ICI and foundation site excavation
Perform daily pre-use inspections and general maintenance of machines
Work with blueprints or instructions from supervisors
Utilize various hand and power tools as required
Check work along the way to ensure it's up to code and specifications
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
3 years experience operating heavy equipment for ICI projects
Knowledge of sewer, watermain, excavation and earth moving best practices
Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ Lbs
Experience working on commercial construction projects
AZ licence certified, and interested in transporting our materials on occasion considered an asset
Basic hand and power tool experience (considered an asset)
Experience reading drawings
Certifications in Forklift and Overhead Crane (considered an asset)
Strong work ethic
Punctual
Able to work overtime and occasional Saturdays
Able to provide their own transportation
Clean driving record
