Qualifications:
2+ years in an administrative role, preferably construction related
Excellent written and verbal “English” communication required
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment through above average time management and multi-tasking skills
Exceptional attention to detail required
Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain working relationships with management and co-workers
Willingness to learn; perseverance through high pressure situations
Excellent customer service skills; adept at servicing multiple companies and demands
Exposure or understanding of principles of lean thinking and continuous improvement
Relevant work experience with a construction / project management / system management platform preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and time management skills
Must have well developed computer skills with the flexibility, adaptability and desire to seek out, learn and embrace new and emerging technology
Advanced proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office - specifically Excel and Project
Ability to function with and utilize video conference software (ie-Zoom)
Provide other administrative tasks and support as assigned
Responsibilities:
Manage schedules and appointments for Superintendents with 100% confidentiality
Facilitate internal and external meetings, conference calls, site tours, etc.
Provide administrative duties to support the Site team with any related administrative requirements
Assemble and report data. Prepare reports, meeting minutes and correspondence
Liaise with all departments including scheduling and attending internal and client meetings
Manage calendars, schedules, and meeting appointments
Comfortable and confident tracking and following up with outstanding items
Maintain a detailed filling system (electronic and hard copy)
Location:
Welland, Ontario
Hours: 44 hours per week, as required by site
