University of Windsor Innovation Centre

The Innovation Centre at U of W houses the Parking Services, Campus Community Police and various services and amenities including a café with a courtyard. Kiwi Newton Construction was entrusted with building this prestigious facility. The second floor is used for organizations that are engaged in innovation and enhancement of the community, working with University of Windsor student faculty and staff. Newton Parking Structures constructed the 295,000sf parking structure using the CANADACAR Parking Structure System which accommodates 1,055 vehicles. The new build offers the University 20 parking stalls which are equipped for charging electric vehicles, accessible parking accommodating 18 vehicles plus covered bike racks which have been installed to house 70 bicycles, in total seven levels of multi-use parking is being enjoyed by staff, students and guests. An added bonus to this project is the covered pedestrian bridge located on the second level and directly linking the Innovation Centre to the parking structure.
