Machine Operator

Responsibilities
- Maintain production numbers for daily goals
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on superior quality
- Working on beam lines, angle clippers, saw, etc
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Experience interpreting blue prints and follow supervisor’s instructions
- Operate and run machines in a safe manner
- Managing repairs, maintenance and diagnosing errors or technical problems
- Other tasks and duties may be assigned
Skills, Knowledge & Competencies
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ Lbs
- Experience working in the construction industry (considered an asset)
- Experience reading drawings (specifically steel production drawings)
- Able to read part lists and identify parts to use in assembly
- Certifications in Forklift and Crane an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Clean driving record
