The Carillon Parking Structure

The Carillon Parking Structure was awarded to Kiwi Newton Group to support the expansion of a residential property. The owner of the property wanted to build another apartment building on their property, however they did not have the space. They did have a parking lot for the residents of the current building. The owner effectively ‘bought back’ their own land by building a parking structure on the edge of the property which could house the necessary parking spaces for the existing apartment building and the allow for another building which could now be built in the footprint of the parking lot.

The structure was prefabricated using the Kiwi CarPark steel and precast building system. The structure is a one-bay layout with a dedicated ramp on the one side. Consisting of one ground level, two suspended levels, and a steel roof above the top floor. Areas of the North and West sides of the structure contain a powder coated fin façade making the structure fit seamlessly into the surrounding area.
