We're excited to announce that Newton Group Ltd. has been awarded the “P3” (Public, Private, Partnership) contract as the Design-Builder for the Parking Structure portion of the new Mental Health & Addiction Hospital in St. John's Newfoundland

We're excited to announce the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador has awarded the “P3” (Public, Private, Partnership) contract for a new Mental Health & Addictions Hospital (NAMHAF) in St. John’s Newfoundland to the Avalon Healthcare Partnership, who has selected Newton Group Ltd. as the Design-Builder for the Parking Structure portion of this massive project. The three-bay, five-level parking structure consists of 1,000 parking spaces, full height mesh guard façade, two stair towers and one elevator tower using our in-house manufactured precast CANADACAR Parking Structure Building System.

The parking structure, which will be completed by the end of 2021, will support the new Mental Health & Addictions Hospital which will be completed in late 2024. The overall project is part of the commitment from the Provincial Government to transform the way mental health and addictions services are delivered. The province continues to support this vision through the implementation of “Towards Recovery: The Mental Health and Addictions Action Plan for Newfoundland and Labrador.”

Our CANADACAR Parking Structure Building System is the answer for Campuses, Hospitals, Airports, Municipalities, Auto Dealerships, Commercial and Residential Developments! Newton Group Ltd. continues to be recognized for our dedication and commitment to “Innovation, Technology and Integrity.”

Beyond the obvious benefits of having a parking structure, our reimagined and reconfigured design includes all the features and benefits of CPTED Principals. We are ready to get started on this project and can’t wait to break ground. Stay tuned to all our social media channels and check back here for more updates as this project unfolds.
