Kiwi Newton successfully constructed a multi-storey retirement home in Hamilton, Ontario in collaboration with MMMC Inc. Architects, while ensuring the existing facility remained fully operational.

Ensuring the safety of residents and staff was our top priority throughout the construction process. We implemented a Site Specific Safety Plan before commencing the project, strictly adhering to it throughout. Our team consistently kept the well-being and comfort of the residents in mind.

Construction activities were always separate from resident areas, maintaining a secure environment. The site’s unique features, including mature trees and a creek, were carefully considered. Through meticulous planning, we implemented multiple phases to manage deliveries and food preparation, ensuring the project stayed on schedule.

The final touches and transition from the old facility were executed smoothly, allowing for the demolition of the original structure. This process unfolded without any issues, and the entire project was completed according to the Owner’s plans and specifications, following MOH guidelines.
