An important goal of Newton Group Ltd. is to develop buildings that are environmentally sound and green in nature. We understand that buildings need to be functional and cost effective, yet sustainable within the scope of our built environment. Further, we understand and appreciate the important role this plays in the global climate change efforts. Newton Group Ltd. recognizes that it takes research and development strategies to bring forth sustainable buildings, and is committed to this concept.

Innovation is our cornerstone with advanced green technologies at the forefront. We use fewer resources in the manufacturing of our concrete and steel, allowing our clients to gain points in the LEED System for their buildings.

Newton Group operates a Solar E.P.C. (Engineer, Procurer, Constructor) division of the company as part of the overall integration strategy. Newton Solar has successfully completed over 70 projects providing more than 20MW of power.

Net Zero

Zero Carbon Building Program

Newton Group is excited to be 1 of 15 of Canada's most sustainable projects in the Zero Carbon Building Pilot Program through the Canadian Green Building Council. The NiMa Trails project is a multi-unit residential building which will use the KiwiCondo/Commercial Building System with infloor heating and cooling. The project includes solar panels and geothermal ground loops

Passive House Canada

Newton Group is also a proud member of PassiveHouse Canada. Passive House is considered to be the most rigorous voluntary energy-based standard in the design and construction industry today. Being a member of PassiveHouse Canada we have access to others in the industry who are passionate about constructing Optimal Performance Buildings.
